The Apprenticeship Branch of Manitoba had two finalists for the "Urban Employer of the Year” category. I.R.I.S. Contractors & PCL Construction. After much anticipation throughout the evening the drum roll had come to a halt and the Winner was announced... Matt MacDonell president of I.R.I.S. Contractors gratefully accepted the award and gave his thoughts and thanks. "We were very excited to be in the running and are grateful that out of Thousands of nominations we were selected as a finalist and then as a Winner "Employer of the year!" "We would like to CONGRADULATE all of the finalists and the Winners; Thanks to the Apprenticeship Branch of Manitoba as well as our staff, trainers & last but not at all least our apprentices."
